Friday Breakfast with Mama

As busy as life gets at times it is always important to me to enjoy the small things.  Those things sure do go a long way.  This morning I jumped out of bed and quickly got ready.  Today was going to be Friday Breakfast with Mama Day.  Kylie and I got out of the house in record time, leaving a sad Daddy behind. (Sorry one day when we go to get pedicures and manicures you won't be as sad).  

We arrive at McDonald's (which Kylie has been to maybe 2-5 times since she was born) and quickly order pancakes.  Kylie loves her pancakes.  We sit down with her HOT pancakes and quickly butter them.  While we are waiting for them to cool Kylie decides that she is going to say HI to everyone that walks through the door.  And if they don't notice her she continues to wave, if they still don't notice her she waves her hands above her head like she is bringing a 747 into a gate to be parked.  I am not kidding she welcomed every person at McDonald's this morning and let me tell you it takes all kinds!

Kylie continued to smile, cuddle and smear syrup on me throughout her meal, which she ate all three pancakes herself.  There was no sharing with Mama.  There was no meltdowns, no arguments just love, pancakes and my McDonald's greeter.    She even told everyone when they left to have a nice day and see you later.

This was the best morning a Mama could have!
