If your in Vegas or going to play the Lotto this week bet on Triple 9s. Kylie turned 9 months old this past Thursday, Mac (our dog) turned 9 years old this past Thursday and Brian and I will be married 9 years on July 1st. A lot of 9s I know.
The most important one well they are all equally important but our little girl turning 9 months is the best. Can you believe 9 months have passed already? She is changing more and more everyday from a infant to a little girl. She has her own opinion on how things are to be done (does that surprise anyone that knows me well?? - The Straub blood for sure) but is very happy and easy going (the Lum blood). She is mobile and fast. Her favorite toy is Brian's Stereo/ TV Surround Sound Receiver. No matter where she is on the main floor she finds herself into the Den to play with that. You have to be careful when turning on the TV as you never know where she may have turned the dial up to and you might get blasted out of the room.
Kylie likes to talk, sing and make as much noise as she can. She loves when you read to her but doesn't like if your too slow with the book and quickly turns the pages ahead. Guess she doesn't like cliffhangers. Her favorite song is the Wheels on the Bus, I am quite frankly running out of things on the bus to sing about some days!
She is a GREAT eater and likes to feed herself, even if it means the spoon in her hair. She is not as interested in the bottle anymore but food bring it on. Her favorite food right now is Cornmeal that they make at my work in the cafeteria, we buy it on Friday so she can eat it throughout the weekend.
Kylie's latest thing is to pull herself up wherever possible and see the world from her 28 inches tall. She had a great checkup today with the doctor and now weighs 16lbs 9oz. She is still only about the 15th percentile for weight and 25th for height but she is perfect according to her doctor. I am very happy that the doctor is also Chinese cause he makes me feel better when my little one is as he calls Asian Petite!
Only three months to her big, 1st Birthday so mark your calendars September 25th be there! Who wouldn't want to be in Florida in September and be here to celebrate our BIG girl??
After her shots today I had to take her to Target to buy her something for being a good girl. Too bad she couldn't stay awake!! 
Kylie has a thing for shoes - I swear not from me..So cute (yes she needs a pedicure)
