Surfs Up Saturday!

Ironically, we live only about 15 minutes from the beach and this is one of the first times we have taken Kylie down there. We arrived at the beach about 8am and walked on the boardwalk enjoying the ocean sounds and the overcast weather. After a brisk walk it was time to introduce Kylie to some surf and sand. She wasn't too excited about the sand and kept looking at her fingers to understand what it was. However, she loved the water and laughed the whole time even when a wave hit her in the face.

It was one of the best days we have had with Kylie thus far and we are planning many more trips to the beach. The funniest part of the day was Kylie standing naked in the public shower (sorry no pictures) but she felt the shower portion for your feet was built just for her.

After a lot of surf, Kylie enjoyed a healthy breakfast consisting of her first donut, blueberry cake from Dunkin Donuts and some juice. (For all of you health freaks out there this was a SPECIAL OCCASION and not what we feed our child everyday!)
