Halloween Part 1

As Kylie woke up in the morning, she was so excited to put on her pirate outfit and boots that Grandma Pam had made. Yes, even though Grandma Pam had made her a nice red pirate skirt to go along with the outfit, Kylie still just wanted to wear her black leggings. Kylie had a school parade in the morning, then class party and then we picked her up later in the day to start our neighborhood party/trick or treating with all the kids.

This year, she completely understood the process of knocking on doors, having a person come out to handout candy, and then kindly saying "thank you...Happy Halloweeeeeen"! Even though we had a little neighborhood block party, once she realized what she could do, she probably thought "heck with this party, I am going to get candy"!

In the party snack buffet. Yes, her teacher remarked "Kylie, chose the most food items out of everyone" (Gezz, I guess she follows after Daddy)!

For the next 2 hours we went all around our neighborhood gathering candy, I believe it weighs about 5 pounds total and we actually had to stop at the house once to empty our bag to fit more.

Thanks again to Kelly for hosting the party this year and all the friends that played with Kylie and took her house to house. I hope everyone had as good of time as Kylie did.
